Project Title: Evaluating background rates of health conditions of interest for vaccine safety using health and demographic surveillance system (HDSS) data
Project Description: This project conducts an assessment of the feasibility and utility of using Rufiji and Ifakara HDSS site and associated healthcare facilities in catchment areas to estimate background rates of health conditions of interest, explore options for assessing other vaccine safety issues with partners. This project will ultimately establish a framework for conducting future vaccine safety related surveillance and investigation in these two sites.
